Update from Japan

My Dad got an email from Dr. Miyazaki in Japan. It has been hard to send news. She has now sent the cranes to the Sendai area. Here is a picture of her and Dr. Lili Lui also from the University of Alberta. They are with the Hotel Manager of their hotel. He helped ship the cranes.

I got called down to the office by my principal, Mr. Miller. He showed me a cheque for the hard work all my school did for Japan.

Shipping the Cranes

We put all the cranes in my Dad's car today. He took them to Dr. Masako Miyazaki. She will take them to Japan next week. Below are pictures of the cranes in Dr. Miyazaki's car too.

Dr. Miyazaki also has cranes from other Cranes for Hope schools in Edmonton. She will be taking them to Japan on the 22nd.

Cranes from far Away

I received a package today from Mrs. Buhler's grade 1-2 class in St. Joseph's school in South Porcupine, Ontario. It contained a very nice letter and 56 cranes. The class of 21 kids also raised $163 for the Red Cross.
