I saw what happened in Japan on TV and want to help.
I went to a meeting with my Dad last night to talk with people about how to help. I got an idea. I call it Cranes for Kids. One of the people at the meeting said that having 1,000 cranes makes all your dreams come true.
If I was in Japan, I would dream about making life normal again. This blog will share information that will help others like me help kids in Japan hurt in the earthquake.
My idea is that everyone in a school class could make a paper crane and bring $1 to school. Each class could collect their cranes and money and send that to kids in Japan who need the cranes and who need the money. The money could go to the Red Cross to help. Our schools could send the cranes to schools in Japan to give them to kids.
Join me in helping kids in Japan by making cranes and donations!
Here is a movie for making a paper crane.
